I am in need of a camera. I was wondering if I could get a better deal (features, size and cost) in Hong Kong rather than purchasing one here in the states. Also how about a lap top computer. What%26#39;s my best bet? And if so where should I shop. Please help!!

It really depends on how much duty you pay at home. There is no import duty on electronics in Hong Kong so you might get a bargain, the best thing I would suggest is that you Google Fortress or Broadway, plus Hong Kong, for prices. I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;re going to get any particularly different features, but you might just might get more for your money. Hong Kong is a lot closer to where these things are made. But this doesn%26#39;t always make a difference, I could get similar things cheaper here because we don%26#39;t have much in the way of duties either. The thing about Hong Kong electronics is you always get the very latest up-to-date stuff outside of Japan. On the other hand, apart from computers cellphones and cameras there is not any more choice then I get at home, sometimes less.
