TST or Causeway Bay

We are a couple in our late-20s on a budget and will be spending 3 days in Hong Kong in Nov. We would like to be close to the top attractions, nightlife, etc and have a big interest in trying local foods (not high end resturants). We are trying to determine whther TST or Causeway Bay would be a better choice for us, and which are the best budget accomodations in each area...

Depends what you mean by budget, many of the hostels seem to be in TST, though there are some on Hong Kong Island. Do a search for ';anyquestions'; on this site to obtain a good list of budget accommodation however insofar as anything else is concerned it makes not a great deal of difference because the public transport system is excellent. People have their preferences, but practically it doesn%26#39;t matter.

Yes, there is indeed a thread (actually, many of them) that gives you a list of recommended budget places to stay. Of course, budget means different things to different people.
