i will travel to Macau at 15th of June, is it ok for the weather? is it dangerous for the thyphoons?

You are avoiding Friday and Saturday so that is good. June is warm and wet.

Typhoons are more likely in June. If one comes to Macau while you are there, you will have to stay indoors. If it comes before you arrive, then your flight might be delayed. If the typhoon is a direct hit then it can be dangerous if you go outside and stand near the harbour or near buildings with loose scaffolding.

Only dangerous if a typhoon directly hits Macau. Most typhoons are not direct hits, but pass several hundred kms away, and just result in high winds and heavy rain. Also, while a typhoon is more likely in June than say March or November, it is quite possible to go through June with no typhoons.

Of course a typhoon is always a possibility from approximately April through October, but as Drumbrake has written there are very few direct hits - in the 5 years that I lived there, we only had one. In a ';bad'; year there might be 4 or 5 warnings with maybe 2 or 3 shutdown days, but in other years there isn%26#39;t a single typhoon. So the chance of your mother%26#39;s visit being affected by a typhoon is only very slight, and the weather bureau provides good information with enough time to prepare if one does come too close for comfort.

Hi, typhoons,hard to predict;though based on last year climate pattern for the month of June,when I was there,it was a whole day raining affair.

But it did not stop me from enjoying Macau;having a warm bowl of steamed milk,and still doing some shopping.

Better to have a good water proof jacket(I brought along my Gore-tex PCF jacket),umbrella was hopeless,it warped up against the strong wind.

And if you are carrying a diddy pack(knapsack),I advise to prevent water sippage,is to put in a plastic carrier bag first,then your belongings,then securely fasten the carrier bag.

And of course,CROCS sandals are the best,as in some spots,there are water clogged.
