Hotel near Hongiao airport

We will be arriving at Hongqiao airport at 11 p.m. from a domestic flight. The next morning we leave for flight home from Pudong airport. Does it make sense to stay at hotel near Hongqiao airport when we arrive late? Can anyone recommend a hotel very close to the airport?

SHA is really near the city, you can stay at any hotel in the west part of city or Hong Qiao Area, there are plenty of 4-5 star hotels at Hong Qiao Area, like the old Westin Pacific.

What time is your flight out the next morning? Staying near either Hongqiao or Pudong airport sounds fine to me. I%26#39;d probably pick to go to Pudong airport, if there%26#39;re still airport shuttles running. A little bit more time and leeway the next morning, no need to worry about getting to the airport on time.

I don%26#39;t think you will have the time to take airport shuttle bus from Hongqion to Pudong since the running time is: 6:00-23:00.

In the morning, you might meet traffic jams if your coming date is in weekdays. If you choose the hotel in Pudong airport, I recommend Ramada Pudong Airport Hotel. They have the shuttle bus hotel %26lt;------%26gt; airport, (from hotel to airport in the morning will be 15 min between 2 buses) ( by cab from Hongqiao - Ramada at night will be around 250 RMB, btw take cab in the middle night will be more expensive in day time).

True, the Ramada Pudong is quite close to Pudong airport. I just went there recently to meet a traveller for breakfast. However if you%26#39;re not wanting to spend so much for your last night, and be in a hotel that%26#39;s walking distance to the airport terminals (it%26#39;s actually in the building joining the two) then you%26#39;d be better off going for the Motel168 at Pudong airport itself.
