Travelling from Hong Kong to Bangkok

Hello Fellow Travellers!

Im wondering if anyone knows if its possible (i.e. relatively safe and hassle-free..) to travel from Hong Kong to Bangkok via bus or train? And how long would that take?

This would be much appreciated.

Anything is possible and I am sure there are ways you can do this. However, the short answer is you can%26#39;t realistically travel via bus or train to Bangkok from Hong Kong.

Perfectly possible, and would be a great 4-5 week journey if you have the time. If not, fly.

You could go through southern China, and then down through Vietnam by train. Lots of places to stop off.

Then through Cambodia by bus and boat. Great place for a week or two.

Then through Thailand to Bangkok - maybe stop on Koh Chang for a few days.
