Bund Riverside-Outlet Store-back to hotel-Maglev to Airport?

Help! On March 15, we%26#39;ll be checking out from our hotel by noontime... is it possible to go from

Bund Riverside Hotel to the Outlet Store and then back to hotel take the Maglev to Pudong Airport?

Is it practical or a waste?

If it is okay, how late does the Maglev leave and how do we get to the station? Our flight out is at 0030, March 16. So, probably we need to be at the airport by 9PM.

If it is a waste, how do you suggest that we go about it? We%26#39;ll be arriving in Shanghai at 2330 of March 12, and I suppose the Maglev is no longer available at that time.

I Am in ShangHai Currently on vacation . did the outlet stores today . Taxi from Hong Qiao was RMB 55 . think will cost u abt RMB 80 from the Bund. spent 6 hrs at the outlet.. if u looking for winter wear i%26#39;ll say it%26#39;ll be worth while.. as most stores r clearing out their winterwear . sizes are limited thou .. safer if u%26#39;re size M and above. got myself some stuff from northface, puma , lacoste. email me at if u wanna know more .. will log on tomorrow abt this time as i%26#39;m still on my vacation ..

It%26#39;s possible, but I%26#39;m not sure how much value-for-time/money it would be.

The Maglev will still be running at that hour. However it%26#39;ll only be running at a maximum speed of 300 km/h, not the usual 431 km/h.

Sorry, forgot to clarify. The Maglev will definitely NOT be running when you arrive. The latest departure from Longyang Lu going towards Pudong airport will be at 2140, and running at a maximum speed of only 300 km/h. If your flight is at 0030, you%26#39;ll need to check-in at 2230. Arriving at 2150 seems a little early to me.

Yeah .. got a question for elysee.. why isn%26#39;t the maglev not running at top spead? pretty disappointed when i found out it used to be rumming at 400+ Kmh

At some times of day it doesn%26#39;t run at full speed. I presume it%26#39;s because they want to save energy. Don%26#39;t quote me on that.
