Is it only possible for visiting on a sunday afternoon? I thought one could go for tea at any time in the afternoon?

I think they have afternoon tea every day - I went on a Friday afternoon last time. You can%26#39;t book unless you are staying there so there may be a small line - less so during the week than at weekends though.
