Tiananmen museums?

I was wondering how many museums there are at Tiananmen and which one was best?

I had heard that the National Museum was specifically a history museum and also the biggest; is it worth a visit?

I don%26#39;t know about the National Museum, but the newish Capital Museum at Muxidi metro stop is huge and definitely worth a full day%26#39;s time if you%26#39;re interested in museums.

Tiananmen museums?

There have been some big renovations going on there, so the reopened History Museum will probably be better than the old one, which was nothing special.

The other is a Communist Party museum, which isn%26#39;t of interest to a lot of tourists, but that is part of China, and perhaps worth a look.
