Hi all I%26#39;m about to go to stay @ the presidential hotel.. I%26#39;m not familiar w/ the surrounding so want to know if there%26#39;s any good Chinese restaurants around, if the ones in the hotel isn%26#39;t that good?

I can%26#39;t name any specifically, but there are some restaurants in the area. Fast food chains, also.

The hotel restaurants at least used to be good, but will cost more than most alternatives.

Hotel food is always best to be avoided. Walk 2 blocks from the hotel and look for restaurants that are busy and avoid the empty ones. The locals know better.

I%26#39;d say that some of Beijing%26#39;s best restaurants are in hotels--depends on the hotel, really.
