Will be staying at Langham place in May for 4 nights and 1 night in Macau. Arriving early on a Sunday and leaving early Friday Morning. I have looked on the forum for ideas of what to do and was just wondering if anyone could recommend any changes.

Sunday - arrive,ladies market,peak.

Mon - ocean park, avenue of stars and symphony of lights

Tues - cable car and giant buddha

wed - macau

thurs - star ferry, tst shopping and causeway bay

would have liked to have gone to the races but did%26#39;nt realise it is only on wed!

Any help would be much appreciated

Ladies Market and peak - I would do more on that day. Dunno what you think ladies markrt is like but you can get sick of it quite quickly, Peak - depending on what you want it for go early. Get the view avoid the queues/shops etc. Or not. but these places are far apart relatively speaking too. I would combine peak (early) CWB shopping, and ferry at least. You could ride the escalator too. Shops stay open till 10.00 or 11.00 in HK so shopping%26#39;s easy to fit in.

There is a race on Thuraday evening 21st May.

Sunday: don%26#39;t know what time you arrive so it%26#39;s hard to say whether you have planned enough. Add Wong Tai Sin Temple too if you have time during the day.

Tuesday: cable car and giant buddha is about 1/2 day. Suggest you come back to Central and visit the escalator area (Man Mo Temple, Hollywood Road, Soho, etc).

thanks for your replies, i%26#39;m going from the 3 to 8th May so will miss that race night. I%26#39;m arriving at 8am on the Sunday so will definatley try to fit in your other suggestions.

Hi

We did cable car( what a view, other half scared of heights but managed quite well)and buddha in the morning, we left HK Island around 8.30am and arrived back at Central approx 2pm, we then did the Escalators and areas around there.

Was a fantastic day, enjoy your time there, it was my first trip and I hope it won%26#39;t be my last.

Regards

Helen
