Is it advantageous to purchase an Ipod Touch in either HK or Shenzhen? Basically what would be the savings if we buy it there versus the US?

Go to the Apple web site for HK and you will see the prices there and can compare with the US.
I bought one yesterday at Fortress for a friend as it is cheaper than China but not sure it is cheaper than the US.
The stores sell at the same price as the website (as they do in the US).

You had a great idea, I just checked and the Touch is more expensive by about $10 in HK.
