How long does it take by bus from

the Shenzen border to the Macau border, or is it better to go back to Macau via Hong Kong? Would appreciate any information.

I understand there are buses running from Luohu (the area just across the border from HK) to Zhuhai (just across the border from Macau - you walk through the busiest border crossing in the world!) I%26#39;m not sure how long the bus journey takes, because I prefer to take the ferry from SZ direct to Macau (I figure it%26#39;s more comfortable sitting in a bus or taxi for the hour or so needed to get to the ferry than to spend that time standing up in the immigration queues at the main Zhuhai border crossing). There are two services, one company runs from Shekou in the southwest part of Shenzhen, and the other runs from BaoAn, which is further up north near the airport. The ferry from either place takes a bit over an hour.

(10 LuoHu - buses leave form the main LuoHu coach station about every 30-40 minutes for Zhuhai (90 RMB)- takes 2.5 hr %26amp; then you walk across the GongBei border into Macau;

(2) HuangGang - take a taxi to Futian Bus Station and catch the same buses to Zhuhai (about 15 minutes later/quicker) OR taxi to Shekou and ferry to Macau;

(3) Shezhen Bay Bridge - taxi to Shekou Port %26amp; ferry to Macau.
