Pandaphone or China Mobile

My wife and I will be in China for 15 days later this year. Which is better - Pandaphone or China Mobile? How do the rates compare? We%26#39;ll probably bring our own phones and purchase SIM cards. We don%26#39;t plan to use phones much, though.

Will an Apple iPhone and its apps work in China? Can you get data with Pandaphone or China Mobile SIM cards?

Thanks,

Eric

Pandaphone or China Mobile

I am sorry but I never heard of Pandaphone. but if you want data you will have to purchase a data plan. Most SIM card that they seel around town are just phone services. You will need to go to an official China Mobile office for this. Not sure you can get it for only 15 days....

Pandaphone or China Mobile

Pandaphone is a 3rd party websites preying on clueless tourists, reselling local service at a premium. iPhone only works at its full capacity with China Unicom%26#39;s non-proprietary 3G network(at 3G speed), to be implemented as early as July 2009 in select cities. With a China Mobile SIM, you surf at EDGE (not 3G) speed.
