I need Z train tickets from Beijing to Xian for next week. However, our hostel/hotel will not get them for us until we arrive.

1) What are the chances of getting four soft sleeper or deluxe soft sleeper tickets 4 days prior to departure?

2) Any suggestions of a reputable travel agent?

Three ways for soft sleeper tickets: 1)Book online from internet or phone 86-10-114 2)When you get in Beijing first go to train ticket office to try 3)Try to look for some agent.

Z train ticket sell 20days in advance.

So you should ask your guide or driver book it before.if no guide and driver,you need find ticket agenda to book for you.it is a risk to go to railway station buy tickets after you arrive in Beijing.
