D train ticket price from Shanghai to Hangzhou

We are visiting Shanghai on 13 March 2009 for 5 days.

Want to visit a day tour to Hangzhou on our own. Does anyone know the current adult ticket price for D train from Shanghai South Railway Station to Hangzhou Main Station.

Is it easy to get the D train ticket on the same day travel for this period?

54/64 RMB for 2nd/1st-class seats each way.

Not particularly easy as it%26#39;s the weekend. Besides, we%26#39;re finally starting to get some non-rainy days after almost 2 weeks of continuous rain, so I imagine that there would be people wanting to get out and about!

D train ticket price from Shanghai to Hangzhou

Best to book as soon as you arrive in Shanghai - get your return ticket at the same time. Easiest to get your hotel to book rather than going to the train station.

Go for D train regardless... did a slow train the other day ... thou it was just from Suzhou-Wuxi .. i would describe it as chaotic...
