Shangai - Maglev Train or River Cruise

Hi!

This is my first post! My tour agent offers an option to us free of charge, a single trip of Maglev Train or River Cruise on the HuangPu River.

If we are to take the Maglev Train or River Cruise by ourselves, how much does each of them cost?

Can anyone advise or suggest about the option?

Shangai - Maglev Train or River Cruise

The Maglev costs 50 rmb for a one way ticket (40 rmb if you have a flight reservation). But that%26#39;s one way - is the tour agent intending this to be your airport transportation? Or an outing where you would do a round trip?

For the river cruise you can choose a variety of excursions - 1 hour, 3 hour, dinner, etc. Hour cruises are around 30 rmb (not exactly sure of price - could be up to 50 - it%26#39;s been a few years since I did this!). An hour cruise is about right - up and back along the scenic part of the river.

The cruises range in price from Y30 - 90. I would take the Maglev %26amp; then decide when you are in Shanghai if you want to do the cruise or not.

You can get a great view of the river at night from the Bund and you may decide that is just as good.

The Maglev is pretty cool so I wouldn%26#39;t want to miss that.

Really the prices are very similar so it is just a matter of deciding what you want to do:)

The agent is offering a nite river cruise. As for the Maglev Train, I would suppose it%26#39;s a single trip to airport, as our are joining a so-called ';ground tour'; package.

This high speed Maglev is an esperience itself but last around 10 minutes only.

Before you are fully settle down(warm your seat)the train had reach the destination.

Do both and pay for one choice %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;ultilise the discount given by having air tickets.Maglev and free cruise

You had travel so far,make the best out of it

Ya, will probably do both, but take the free Maglev Train, and pay for the cruise, as preferred by family members! :p

I would definitely go for the river cruise. It costs more and you also get a longer period of enjoyment for that money. :P

maglev is 50RMB/person ( 40RMB/person by showing the flight ticket of that day)

river cruise is 50RMB/person in the day time, night river cruise is 80RMB/person

I will choose river cruise esp the night river cruise, not only the price is higher but also it%26#39;s has better view than day time. But i don%26#39;t know whether your tour agent offer ticket for night river cruise or not.
