Kaiping to HK/Kowloon?

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be traveling with my family to Kaiping to visit my father%26#39;s ancestral village next week. Would anyone have any information for quick/convenient travel from Kaiping to Hong Kong? I%26#39;d like to arrive in HK as early as possible to maximize my time before departing for home. I understand that there is a ferry and a bus service. If you could advise or direct me to a website with a schedule, it would be greatly appreciated!

Kaiping to HK/Kowloon?

For ferry services I think Zhongshan and Jiangmen are the nearest ports to Kaiping with services to Hong Kong. Details of Pearl Delta routes, timetables etc are here (mouse over the town names for routes);

I just received a message on the GZ forum (posted the same question there) and it seems that the ferries were discontinued recently due to the new roads and highways (although it still shows up on their webpage as operating). Thanks for your time and effort looking up the sites. It%26#39;s much appreciated.

Still looking for a bus station/route!

The new Shenzhen Bay Bridge has improved road connections between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta but according to the information below as recently as last month there were still 13 cross-boundary ferry services operating which are listed in the annexe and include Zhongshen and Jiangmen.
