Usually when we travel I have lots of specific plans for what we%26#39;ll do for much of the time, and that suits us well. But for our trip to Hong Kong I don%26#39;t have nearly as clear a picture of what we%26#39;ll want to do for sightseeing, so I%26#39;m thinking of playing a lot more of it by ear.
But in order to do that, I%26#39;d have to be a bit less independent, and be able to count on someone to point us in the right direction in the moment. Does our hotel, Langham Place, have a reliable concierge that would be able to direct us to impulsive destinations (Macau, restaurants, or whatever)? Or would I really be better off figuring it all out myself before hand just in case we decide to do it...?
Concierge at Langham Place
Hi, oh definite big yes, with the concierge at Langham Place;they can tell you which good restaurants to go to for which food and can make reservation on your behalf, and even call a taxi for you(if you need one)and tell the taxi men where to take you to.
Well, should that impulse sets in,do not worry-getting ferry ticket to Macau for you and arranging accommodation over there should you decide to stay overnight instead of a day trip.

Thank you so much! I%26#39;d hoped that would be the case, but just wanted to make sure. Usually using tripadvisor is all I need in order to know what it is we want to do and how to do it. But for HK I%26#39;m thinking we may get there and once we see for ourselves we may decide we want to do different things than I%26#39;d thought, or even take a tour, and I%26#39;d need someone to actually point in the actual direction to go! So I really appreciate your comforting answer.
